Letters to Our Daughters | May 2013

May is here, and that means another letter to my girl.  Once again, I am so excited to be among a very talented group of Clickin’Moms who have taken on the task of writing letters to our girls each month.

Hey Sisteroo!
What a busy and fun month is has been.  You are growing like a weed and becoming smarter and more independent every day!  You are such a beautiful thing.  Your love for your family is so strong and you express it so well.  You are constantly wanting to take care of your brothers, help Mommy, and be close to Daddy.  We love you sweet girl and are so thankful that God knew just what we needed when He gave us you!
You have been a trooper through 8 T-ball games is the wind, cold, and heat that only the Valley in April and May could dish up!  It is so sweet to hear you cheer for the boys and have so much excitement!
You have so, so many words these days!  You are starting to put sentences together even!  “I wan wawa, Mommy!” is a frequent one.  Most of your words are still approximations, but you very clearly make your needs known!
You can already dress yourself (and have a strong opinion about what you wear!), put on your shoes, and clean up all your messes!  You are set on learning to buckle your own carseat belt too!  Girl, you are ahead of us all… you keep us on our toes!
In three short months you will be TWO!  I cannot believe it.  These have been wonderful days, Sis, and I can’t wait for the slower pace of summer and long days spent with you and your brothers.
Look!! Your first toenail polish!  You were sooooo excited for me to paint them, you sat perfectly still on the bathroom counter!  It was so sweet. I foresee many, many more episodes of this in our future… Yay!

I love you, my sweet girl.  You are mine and I am yours, no matter what.
Forever and ever,
Mama
